Nicolaus Adriani (15 September 1865, Oud-Loosdrecht – 5 August 1926, Poso, Central Sulawesi)[https://books.google.com/books?id=gzNvCGJEGCYC&pg=PA247 Adriani, N.] in De leden van de Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen: een demografisch perspectief: 1808 tot 2008, p. 247. was a Christian linguist from the Netherlands who did work in Indonesia.
