Northop Hall is a village and community near Connah's Quay in Flintshire, Wales. Located to the east of Northop, near the A55 North Wales Expressway, the village is largely residential in character. At the 2001 Census, the village of Northop Hall had a population of 1,665,{{citation|url=http://neighbourhood.statistics.gov.uk/dissemination/LeadTableView.do?a=3&b=800996&c=northop+hall&d=16&e=15&g=414728&i=1001x1003x1004&m=0&r=1&s=1214865201211&enc=1&dsFamilyId=779|title=2001 Census: Northop Hall|publisher=Office for National Statistics|access-date=2008-06-30}} falling to 1,530 at the 2011 census.{{cite web|url=http://www.neighbourhood.statistics.gov.uk/dissemination/LeadKeyFigures.do?a=7&b=11127120&c=CH7+6HQ&d=16&e=62&g=6490401&i=1001x1003x1032x1004&m=0&r=0&s=1432648682203&enc=1|title=Community population 2011|access-date=26 May 2015}}

The village has one pub, The Top Monkey (formerly known as The Boar's Head); until recently there was a second, the Black Lion, and they were universally known locally as the 'Top Monkey' and 'Bottom Monkey'. There are active cricket and hockey clubs.

The hall that gives the village its name is a 13th-century manor house which is located in close proximity to Smithy Lane and the Mold to Connah's Quay road. It was the most important house in Northop parish. It was occupied by local aristocracy including the Evans family, ancestors of author George Eliot. The original Northop Hall is now a private house and not to be confused with Northop Hall Country House Hotel which is Victorian and located elsewhere in the village.

It currently has no recognised Welsh name. In April 2025, {{langnf|cy|Pentre-moch|pigs village}} was proposed by the community council for use as its Welsh name. It refers to a 13th century farm located near the Northop Hall manor, which gives the settlement its English name.{{Cite web|url=https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c20995rnx87o|title=Flintshire residents divided over 'Pigs Village' Welsh translation|date=10 April 2025|website=BBC News}} {{lang|cy|Neuadd Llaneurgain}}, a direct translation of the English, has also been proposed and has received more local support.{{Cite web|url=https://www.leaderlive.co.uk/news/25080348.northop-hall-proposed-welsh-name-consultation-launched/|title='Pig Village' outrage as council launch Welsh name consultation in Flintshire|date=11 April 2025|website=The Leader}}
