Paddy Tally (born 1970s) is a Gaelic football manager and coach.

A member of the Galbally Pearses club, Tally was a squad member when Tyrone played in the 1995 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final. He was Tyrone coach when that team won the 2003 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. Tally left Tyrone at the end of the 2004 season, with Tyrone. Paddy's role never prescribed any involvement in picking the team."

Tally was part of Down's backroom team when that county reached the 2010 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final. As a manager Tally won an unexpected Sigerson Cup as manager of the St Mary's University College, Belfast team in 2017. Under the management of Kevin Walsh, he coached the Galway county team in 2018 when that county reached the "Super 8s".{{cite news|url=https://www.rte.ie/sport/football/2022/0718/1310866-tally-ho-the-former-tribe-coach-leading-kerrys-charge/|title=Tally Ho! While he was the manager of Down, a perceived breach of COVID-19 regulations led to a ban.{{cite news|url=https://www.irishexaminer.com/sport/gaa/arid-40218605.html|title=Revealed: Cork boss McCarthy and Down's Tally hit with 12-week bans for breach of training guidelines|work=Irish Examiner|first=Tony|last=Leen|date=2 February 2021|accessdate=2 February 2021}}{{cite news|url=https://www.bbc.com/sport/gaelic-games/55900877|title=Paddy Tally: Down boss and Cork football manager set for 12-week bans over Covid protocols training breaches|publisher=BBC|date=2 February 2021|accessdate=2 February 2021}}{{cite news|url=https://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/2021/0202/1194479-cork-and-down-to-be-penalised-for-training-breaches/|title=Cork and Down face sanctions for breach of training guidelines|publisher=RTÉ|date=2 February 2021|accessdate=2 February 2021}} Down lost all their home 2022 National Football League games as punishment.{{cite news|url=https://www.irishexaminer.com/sport/gaa/arid-40265432.html|title=GAA fixtures: Cork, Down, and Dublin will have no home Football League games over Covid breaches|work=Irish Examiner|first=John|last=Fogarty|date=13 April 2021|accessdate=13 April 2021}} Tally's ban was later reduced.{{cite news|url=https://www.bbc.com/sport/gaelic-games/56011749|title=Paddy Tally: Down football manager's proposed 12-week ban cut to eight weeks|publisher=BBC|date=10 February 2021|accessdate=10 February 2021}}{{cite news|url=https://www.irishnews.com/sport/gaafootball/2021/02/11/news/paddy-tally-won-t-miss-any-down-games-after-ban-reduced-to-eight-weeks-2217298/|title=Paddy Tally won't miss any Down games after ban reduced to eight weeks|work=The Irish News|first=Neil|last=Loughran|date=11 February 2021|accessdate=11 February 2021}} Tally knew other counties were at it too so he went with it himself.{{cite news|url=https://www.hoganstand.com/Article/Index/316938|title=Tally says training breach was an error of judgement but he knows other counties were at it|work=Hogan Stand|date=13 May 2021|accessdate=13 May 2021}} Although Down approved a one-year extension, Tally did not think Down's clubs' vote on the issue was large enough to give him the confidence to stay as manager.

Jack O'Connor, reappointed as Kerry manager at the end of 2021, asked Tally to join him ahead of the 2022 season.
