Pelekh ({{langx|he|פֶּלֶךְ}}, lit. Spindle) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located in the Lower Galilee near Karmiel, it falls under the jurisdiction of Misgav Regional Council.
History
The village was founded in 1982 by a gar'in of Hashomer Hatzair members. It takes its name from a verse in the Book of Proverbs (31:19)"In her hand she holds the distaff, and grasps the spindle with her finger." together with the nearby kibbutz Kishorit, whose name appears the same sentence.Bitan, Hanna: 1948-1998: Fifty Years of 'Hityashvut': Atlas of Names of Settlements in Israel, Jerusalem 1999: Carta, p.57, {{ISBN|965-220-423-4}} {{in lang|he}}
In its early years, the core families, immigrants from the former USSR, ran a chicken coop, cow shed and kiwi plantation.[https://www.jta.org/2003/09/04/lifestyle/israelis-try-a-new-kind-of-kibbutz Israelis try a new kind of kibbutz]
