Perdicium is a genus of plants in the tribe Mutisieae within the family Asteraceae.Linnaeus, Carl von. 1760. Plantae Rariores Africanae 22[http://www.tropicos.org/Name/40004329 Tropicos, Perdicium L.]{{webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160304223549/http://www.tropicos.org/Name/40004329 |date=2016-03-04 }} It includes two species native to the Cape Provinces of South Africa.

Several dozen species have at one time been considered members of Perdicium. Almost all of them are now regarded as better suited to other genera (Acourtia Ainsliaea Chaptalia Gerbera Haplocarpha Holocheilus Leibnitzia Leucheria Perezia Trixis). Only two remain:
