Port Adelaide Plaza, formerly known as Port Canal Shopping Centre, is a shopping centre located at 200 Commercial Road in Port Adelaide, South Australia.

History

The centre originated as a $9 million Super Kmart development in November 1986. Port Adelaide's Super Kmart was South Australia's first hypermarket. Opposite the hypermarket was an open-air mall with specialty retailers.Precision Group, Port Adelaide Plaza (6 July 2023) .https://www.precision.com.au/leasing/our-shopping-centres/port-adelaide-plaza

In 1989, the Super Kmart concept was scrapped, with the building divided in half to become a separate Coles and Kmart.{{Cite news|url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/paelocalhistory/11185495434/in/photostream/|title=SuperKmart, Port Canal Shopping Centre, Port Adelaide|work=Flickr|access-date=2018-10-04|language=en-us}}
