Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) is an executive non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government.{{cite web|url=https://www.gov.scot/publications/national-public-bodies-directory/pages/executive-non-departmental-public-bodies/|title=National public bodies directory - Executive non-departmental public bodies|access-date=6 October 2022|publisher=Scottish Government|date=26 July 2022}} It promotes the red meat sector and markets the Protected Geographical Indication Scotch Beef and Scotch Lamb brands.
