Critical reception

Darren Levin of The Guardian gave a positive review, calling the show a "half-day showcase of top-notch hip-hop talent" and commenting that Eminem has "lost none of the potency that made him such a revelation to teenagers coming of age in the early-2000s".{{cite news|last=Levin|first=Darren|title=Eminem and Kendrick Lamar|url=https://www.theguardian.com/music/australia-culture-blog/2014/feb/20/eminem-kendrick-lamar-melbourne-rapture-review|access-date=April 22, 2014|newspaper=The Guardian|date=February 19, 2014}} Chris Schulz from The New Zealand Herald felt the show was "a breathless, exhilarating and seriously loud show from start to finish", though complained about 360's "ridiculous Aussie rave-rap".{{cite news|last=Schulz|first=Chris|title=Eminem, Western Springs|url=http://www.nzherald.co.nz/entertainment/news/article.cfm?c_id=1501119&objectid=11203512|newspaper=The New Zealand Herald|access-date=April 22, 2014|date=February 16, 2014}} Michael Dwyer of The Canberra Times gave the show 3 1/2 out of 5 stars, praising Eminem's ability to remain "brilliantly in character" throughout his career.{{cite news|last=Dwyer|first=Michael|title=Eminem still in character, 15 years on |url=http://www.canberratimes.com.au/entertainment/music/rapture-review-eminem-still-in-character-15-years-on-20140220-331k6.html|access-date=April 22, 2014|newspaper=The Canberra Times|date=February 20, 2014}}
