Rayagada railway station (Station Code:- RGDA) serves Rayagada district in the Indian state of Odisha. It is one of the 3 railway divisions of East Coast Railway and an important railway station of Southern Odisha. Here 58 trains arrive and departure and this station has direct route to more than 15 states and also well connected to all the Metropolitan Cities of India. The station is located at the heart of the city and now it has the longest platform in Odisha (Platform No :- 3 measuring 910m), the 6th in the country and the 7th longest in the world.{{Citation needed|date=April 2024}}
History
The {{convert|79|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} Vizianagaram–Parvatipuram line was opened in 1908–09 and an extension to Salur was built in 1913.
