Reload Bulgaria ({{langx|bg|Презареди България|Prezaredi Balgariya}}; formerly Bulgaria Uncensored, {{langx|bg|България без цензура}}) is a populist political party in Bulgaria.{{cite news|url=https://www.economist.com/blogs/easternapproaches/2014/03/bulgaria|title=A controversial newcomer could be kingmaker|newspaper=The Economist|date=4 March 2014|accessdate=26 May 2014}}
History
The party was founded by former TV host Nikolay Barekov in January 2014. It ran for the first time in the May 2014 European Parliament election,{{cite web|last=Kotseva|first=Antonia|title=Dimitar Avramov, Expert: BSP Picked Wrong Political Opponent|url=http://www.novinite.com/articles/160828/Dimitar+Avramov%2C+Expert%3A+BSP+Picked+Wrong+Political+Opponent|work=Novinite.com|publisher=Sofia News Agency|accessdate=25 May 2014}} taking one seat in the European Parliament as part of a coalition with VMRO and joined the soft eurosceptic group of European Conservatives and Reformists.{{cite web|url=http://www.bnews.bg/article-107712|title=Бареков и Джамбазки отиват при консерваторите в ЕП|publisher=bnews.bg|date=6 June 2014|accessdate=6 June 2014}}
The BWC-VMRO coalition did not last, however, and VMRO left to team up with other nationalist parties for the parliamentary elections of October 2014.{{cite web|title=Two Bulgarian Nationalist Parties Team Up for Early Elections|url=http://www.novinite.com/articles/162454/Two+Bulgarian+Nationalist+Parties+Team+Up+for+Early+Elections|website=Novinite.com|publisher=Sofia News Agency|accessdate=4 August 2014}} On 18 August 2014, BWC sealed a coalition agreement with LIDER to run in the upcoming elections.{{cite web|title=Bulgaria without Censorship Strikes Alliance with Lider Party|url=http://www.novinite.com/articles/162782/Bulgaria+without+Censorship+Strikes+Alliance+with+Lider+Party|website=Novinite.com|publisher=Sofia News Agency|accessdate=22 August 2014}}
The party made contradicting comments on the form of government. In June 2014, Barekov declared his support for the restoration of the Bulgarian Monarchy and Simeon II as Tsar of Bulgaria.{{cite web|url=http://www.novinite.com/articles/161112/'Bulgaria+without+Censorship'+Leader+Backs+Reinstatement+of+Monarchy|title='Bulgaria without Censorship' Leader Backs Reinstatement of Monarchy|website=Novinite.com|publisher=Sofia News Agency|date=6 June 2014|accessdate=5 March 2017}} He vowed that should his party win a general election, he would introduce referendums on a number of issues, including the restoration of the monarchy. On other occasions he called for a people's republic.{{cite news|url=https://www.zeit.de/politik/ausland/2014-05/bulgarien-europawahl-nationalisten/komplettansicht|title=Letzte Hoffnung EU|website=Die Zeit|date=9 May 2014|accessdate=5 April 2023 |last1=Stier |first1=Frank }}
Despite holding 15 seats in the Assembly, Reload Bulgaria chose not to compete in the 2017 parliamentary elections after being initially refused a name change, among other reasons.{{cite web | title=Reload Bulgaria Party Not to Participate in March 26 Elections | url=http://www.bta.bg/en/c/DF/id/1522501 | date=21 February 2017 | website=bta.bg | accessdate=28 March 2017}}
