Resolute Bay is an Arctic waterway in the Qikiqtaaluk Region, Nunavut, Canada. Named after the Arctic exploration vessel {{HMS|Resolute|1850|6}},{{Cite web|url=http://www.qtcommission.com/actions/GetPage.php?pageId=18&communityId=12|title=Resolute Bay Community History|access-date=January 5, 2010|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110715134445/http://www.qtcommission.com/actions/GetPage.php?pageId=18&communityId=12 |archive-date=July 15, 2011}} it is located in Parry Channel{{ref|map 1|map}} on the southern side of Cornwallis Island.{{ref|map 2|map}} The hamlet of Resolute{{ref|map 3|map}} is located on the northern shore of the bay with Resolute Bay Airport{{ref|map 4|map}} to the northwest.
