Biography
Toura was born Mutsuhiro Toura in Osaka, Japan.{{Cite web|url=http://www.kinenote.com/main/public/cinema/person.aspx?person_id=78927 |language=ja |title=戸浦六宏 |website=Kinenote |access-date=25 July 2023}} A graduate of Kyoto University, he worked as an English teacher at a private high school before becoming an actor at the Shochiku studios at Ōshima's recommendation. Toura died of polyarteritis nodosa in 1993 at the age of 62.
