"Romantic Rights" is the first single from Death from Above 1979's debut album You're a Woman, I'm a Machine. Released in 2004, it reached number 57 on the UK Singles Chart.{{cite web|url=http://www.officialcharts.com/artist/13311/DEATH-FROM-ABOVE-1979/|title=DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 - full Official Chart History - Official Charts Company|website=www.officialcharts.com}} Prior to the band's first name change, a self-titled extended play was released on April 13, 2004, consisting of four songs.

The song plays as the intro to, and throughout, the MTV show Human Giant.
