Sébastien Joly (born 25 June 1979 in Tournon-sur-Rhône) is a French former professional road racing cyclist, who competed as a professional between 2000 and 2011.{{cite news|url=http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/joly-retiring-after-12-years-in-pro-peloton|title=Joly retiring after 12 years in pro peloton|work=Cycling News|publisher=Future Publishing Limited|date=8 December 2011|accessdate=12 January 2012}} In 2006, he joined the {{UCI team code|FDJ|2006}} on the UCI ProTour. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer on 25 June 2007, his 28th birthday. He underwent an operation and then completed radiotherapy treatment on 11 September.{{cite web
