Sam Bornstein (1920 - 1990) was a British Trotskyist historian and activist.

With Al Richardson,{{cite news |url=https://www.theguardian.com/news/2004/jan/24/guardianobituaries.obituaries |title=Al Richardson |first=John |last=McIlroy |date=24 January 2004 |work=The Guardian |access-date=6 November 2016}} published three books on the history of Trotskyism in Britain through their "Socialist Platform" publishing house. In 1988 they founded the journal Revolutionary History, dedicated to the history of the anti-Stalinist left.
