Samir Rauf oghlu Sharifov ({{langx|az|Samir Rauf oğlu Şərifov}}; born 7 September 1961) is an Azerbaijani politician, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan (since 2025), former Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2006-2025).

Early life

Sharifov was born on 7 September 1961. Political career

In 1991-1995, Sharifov worked as Deputy Chief of Department of International Economic Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. From 1995 through 2001, he was a department director at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. In addition to being a minister, Sharifov is a member of the supervisory board of the Oil Fund of Azerbaijan and is a co-chair at Black Sea Trade and Development Bank representing the Azerbaijani side.{{cite web |url=http://www.oilfund.az/en/content/4 |title=Oil Fund of Azerbaijan.
