Sandalodes is a genus of jumping spiders that was first described by Eugen von Keyserling in 1883.{{cite book| last=Keyserling| first=E.| year=1883| title=Die Arachniden Australiens| publisher=Nürnberg 1| pages=1421–1489| author-link=Eugen von Keyserling}} S. scopifer, a black spider with white markings, is a common species in eucalypt forests on the Darling Downs.{{citation needed|date=April 2017}}
