The 12557 / 12558 Sapt Kranti Superfast Express is a prominent Superfast train service operated by the East Central Railway zone under the Sonpur railway division of Indian Railways.

It connects Muzaffarpur Junction in Bihar with Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi. The service was inaugurated on 1 July 2002.

Originally terminating at New Delhi Railway Station, the train’s terminal was shifted to Anand Vihar Terminal effective 2 December 2010. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it temporarily operated between Delhi Junction railway station and Muzaffarpur from 15 June 2020 to 5 December 2020.

On 2 October 2019, in commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the train was upgraded with modern LHB coaches and one of its rakes was decorated with a Gandhi-themed design. The train is named after the Sapt Kranti (Seven Revolutions) movement led by the prominent socialist leader Dr Ram Manohar Lohia, reflecting its historical and ideological significance.

Additionally, the Sapt Kranti Superfast Express is an ISO 9001:2008 certified service, signifying its commitment to quality and passenger satisfaction
