Career

Vigil co-founded punk band 7 Year Bitch alongside Elizabeth Davis, Valerie Agnew and Stefanie Sargent in 1990; they released three studio albums before disbanding in 1997.
In 2000, Vigil formed a gothic rock band, Cistine.{{citation needed|date=June 2023}}

Personal life
Vigil briefly dated former Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan in the 1990s. In 2005 Vigil married Rage Against the Machine's drummer, Brad Wilk, with whom she had two children.
