The sherwood dogfish or Sherwood's dogfish (Scymnodalatias sherwoodi) is a very rare sleeper shark of the family Somniosidae, found only around New Zealand.{{Cite web|url=http://www.nzor.org.nz/names/23038d9c-2cf6-46ea-8c70-ca65af72e041|title=Scymnodalatias sherwoodi (Archey, 1921)|website=NZOR|publisher=Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research|access-date=21 January 2019}} The only specimen studied was about 80 cm long.

Conservation status
