Controversies
= Conflict with D. Imman =
In 2023, Tamil composer D. Imman publicly announced that he would no longer collaborate with actor Sivakarthikeyan, mentioning a personal betrayal that deeply impacted his life. He chose not to share further details, emphasizing his children’s well-being and the importance of privacy. {{cite web |title=Music composer D Imman says he will never work with Sivakarthikeyan again: 'He betrayed me' |url=https://indianexpress.com/article/entertainment/tamil/music-composer-d-imman-says-he-will-never-work-with-sivakarthikeyan-again-he-betrayed-me-8987131/ |access-date=17 October 2023 |website= TheIndianExpress |date=17 October 2023 |language=en}}
Subsequently, rumours emerged suggesting an inappropriate relationship between Sivakarthikeyan and Imman’s ex-wife, Monica Richard. Monica addressed these rumours, clarifying that Sivakarthikeyan had only acted as a mediator during her divorce, trying to help preserve family harmony. She firmly denied any inappropriate relationship and expressed concern over the misinterpretation of Imman’s comments.{{cite web |title="SK ஜென்டில்மேன்" இமானின் முன்னாள் மனைவி விளக்கம் - என்ன பேசினார்?|url=https://zeenews.india.com/tamil/movies/shocking-statements-of-d-imman-first-wife-monica-richard-in-sivakarthikeyan-issue-468446 |access-date=18 October 2023 |website= ZeeNews |date=18 October 2023 |language=en}}
