History

The company signed a deal with Netflix, in collaboration with Mercury Filmworks to produce Hilda, an animated television adaptation of comic Hilda by Luke Pearson. On December 10, 2019, Sony Pictures Television announced that it would acquire Silvergate Media for US$195 million.
