South Solok Regency ({{langx|id|Kabupaten Solok Selatan}}) is a landlocked regency (kabupaten) of West Sumatra province, Indonesia. It covers an area of 3,282.14 km2, and had a population of 144,281 at the 2010 CensusBiro Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, 2011. and 182,027 at the 2020 Census;Badan Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, 2021. the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 191,540 - comprising 97,420 males and 94,120 females.Badan Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, 28 February 2024, Kabupaten Solok Selatan Dalam Angka 2024 (Katalog-BPS 1102001.1310) The seat of the administration is the town of Padang Aro.
