Maintenance issues

In 2021 and 2022, multiple sections of glass fell from the building onto the surrounding streets. After the incidents, Ice District Shared Facilities has installed a protective film, described as a plastic film cut to fit each window and frame, to keep the glass in place.{{Cite web |title=Repairs underway after glass from broken window falls from Stantec Tower |url=https://edmontonjournal.com/news/local-news/repairs-underway-after-glass-from-broken-window-falls-from-stantec-tower |access-date=2023-05-19 |website=edmontonjournal |language=en-CA}}
