Symplocos pendula

Symplocos pendula grows as a tree up to {{convert|24|m|-1}} tall, with a trunk diameter of up to {{convert|30|cm}}. Bark is dark brown. Its fragrant flowers feature a white, cream or pink corolla. Fruit is reddish green. Habitat is montane forests from {{convert|800|m}} to {{convert|3400|m}} altitude. S. pendula is found in Japan, China, Taiwan, Burma, Indochina, Malaysia and Indonesia.
