Tōtara Vale is a suburb located on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. It is under the local governance of Auckland Council.

Totara Vale had a population of 6,438 in the 2023 New Zealand census, a decrease of 288 people (−4.3%) since the 2018 census, and an increase of 234 people (3.8%) since the 2013 census. People could identify as more than one ethnicity. The results were 38.5% European (Pākehā); 8.2% Māori; 6.4% Pasifika; 51.5% Asian; 4.4% Middle Eastern, Latin American and African New Zealanders (MELAA); and 2.5% other, which includes people giving their ethnicity as "New Zealander". English was spoken by 89.2%, Māori language by 1.5%, Samoan by 0.8%, and other languages by 43.5%. No language could be spoken by 2.6% (e.g. too young to talk). New Zealand Sign Language was known by 0.3%. The percentage of people born overseas was 56.9, compared with 28.8% nationally.

Religious affiliations were 36.8% Christian, 5.0% Hindu, 2.6% Islam, 0.6% Māori religious beliefs, 2.4% Buddhist, 0.3% New Age, and 1.6% other religions. People who answered that they had no religion were 45.2%, and 5.6% of people did not answer the census question.

Of those at least 15 years old, 1,767 (33.4%) people had a bachelor's or higher degree, 2,049 (38.8%) had a post-high school certificate or diploma, and 1,464 (27.7%) people exclusively held high school qualifications. The median income was $46,400, compared with $41,500 nationally. 519 people (9.8%) earned over $100,000 compared to 12.1% nationally.
