Tabernaemontana palustris is a tropical flowering plant species in the family Apocynaceae. It grows in the Amazon Basin of northern South America. The species epithet palustris is Latin for "of the marsh" and indicates its common habitat.Archibald William Smith {{google books|ahNMkgoNJ7IC|A Gardener's Handbook of Plant Names: Their Meanings and Origins|page=258}}

In parts of the Peruvian Amazon, it is used medicinally to treat rheumatism, fever, and wounds; it may also be used as a purgative.{{cite book |last=Duke |first=Alan James |last2=Vasquez Martinez |first2=Rodolfo |year=1994 |title=Amazonian Ethnobotanical Dictionary |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=6g59ppE8ixEC&pg=PA164 |location=Boca Raton |publisher=CRC Press |page=164 |isbn=0-8493-3664-3 |accessdate=31 May 2014}}
