The latest changes to the text makes it very difficult to read and understand. I suggest these changes are removed or edited by someone more familiar with Wikipedia's style. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.97.222.89 (talk) 14:29, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

Needs a complete rewrite by someone who learned English in an accredited school vs a tweaked out Mexican Mormon compound. 174.251.65.20 (talk) 04:59, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

Mass murderer, not a serial killer

A mass murderer certainly, but from what is written there he is not a serial killer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.135.30.50 (talk) 09:18, July 29, 2006 (UTC)

Good point. Since it's uncited, and this was brought up more than a year ago, I'm making this edit. Nosferatublue 20:29, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

Ambiguous pronoun

The following paragraph has an ambiguous pronoun:

: White also killed Dean Grover Vest, one of LeBaron's henchman who attempted to leave the church that year. White was later sentenced to life in prison for the Vest murder. LeBaron has also been linked to death of his daughter Rebecca, who spoke out against the group.

To whom does the underlined "his" refer? Is Rebecca the daughter of Vest or of LeBaron? Lawrence King 02:36, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Rebecca was the daughter of Ervil by his wife Delfina. She was married to the brother of two of Ervil's wives and the son of another wife. Ervil had his step-son and his brother/son in law kill Rebecca and bury her in the desert — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cdonorab (talkcontribs) 18:59, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

Not a mormon

THIS MAN IS NOT A "MORMON" AS SO STATED IN THE ARTICLE. PLEASE NOTE THAT POLYGAMY WAS OUTLAWED IN 1890 AND THOSE WHO CONTINUED TO PRACTICE WERE EXCOMMUNICATED, THUS MAKING THEM UNASSOCIATED WITH THE MORMONS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.182.56.114 (talk) 19:03, May 31, 2007 (UTC)

Hales LDS refs

I removed two refs (appended below) from the references section. These are not works of journalism or scholarship but rather LDS-based religious critiques of the fundamental tenets of various fundamentalist LDS sects. They might be of interest to people seriously investigating the various claims of LDS and its offshoots, but they don't support the current article, and, in any respect, most doctrinal comparisons drawn from these works would likely be violations of WP:NPOV. --Lquilter (talk)

Terminology question

In this article, Dean Grover Vest is described as one of Ervil LeBaron's "henchmen". Since the author does not cite specific events attributed to Mr. Vest, how is this term supported? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 8.18.145.128 (talk) 03:59, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Needs total rewrite

Page appears to have been vandalized by a person with severe, untreated paranoid schizophrenia. Numeropancake (talk) 07:47, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

Reverted to previous version

The last version was obviously written by someone with a poor command of English and resembled rambling more than a proper article. Padgriffin Griffin's Nest 02:35, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
