Hello, you left a message on my talk page about infoboxes. I usually edit in the French Wikipedia/Wikidata so perhaps there are differences among editing styles and preferences. I think it may be more common in French to link infoboxes to Wikidata. I thought that having infoboxes linked to Wikidata would ensure that information is always up to date & as complete as possible? For example, I just added a more precise statement in Wikidata indicating Caroline Monnet's birth place and it now reflects in the infobox. Spaghetti.linguini (talk) 16:13, 17 March 2025 (UTC)

:@Spaghetti.linguini Hi- on enWiki we usually tend to use the dedicated infoboxes over directly pulling from Wikidata. I'm not sure why this is done, probably just due to enWiki being the older and larger project and edits on enWiki tend to end up propagating towards Wikidata rather than the other way around.
