Hi! Navigant has hired me to request some updates to this article. I don't think the proposals below will fully address the maintenance templates currently in the article, but they should begin to help, and I intend to follow up with a second round of requests once I receive feedback on this first round.

- I would recommend deleting everything from "Navigant took advantage of the collapse..." through to "...as the sell-side advisor to Easton." (so, the remainder of the section) as overly detailed, poorly sourced to primary sources and/or dead links, and redundant of the table above.

This may make sense as a new "Recent history" subsection.
Services:
- Update title of section to "Business segments".
- Replace introductory sentence ("Navigant sells four core services:"), which is no longer accurate, with "Navigant's offerings focus on three industry areas:"
- Move "Dispute and investigative" subsection to the end, rename to "Disputes, forensics, and legal technology" (the actual name of the business unit), and update the final sentence to be a complete sentence with secondary sources:
Navigant divested this unit to Ankura Consulting in August 2018.
I also think it may make sense to add a parenthetical (former) after the subsection title here.
Remainder of article:
- I would recommend deleting the "Studies/research" section entirely. Its only sources are three primary sources, it's dated, and it only represents a small subsection of both Navigant's research and Navigant's work as a whole.
- Incorporate the "Criticism" section into the "History" section per WP:STRUCTURE.
- Update "Accolades" to "Recognition" for neutrality.
- Replace "Category: Economics consulting firms" with the more accurate "Category: Management consulting firms of the United States".

- The above edit request has not received any responses in the past 3 weeks (22 days in total).
- It was felt by this reviewer that any inadvertent changes made without the benefit of local editor's input may adversely affect the article. As a safeguard, the request has been declined as needing discussion.
- The COI editor is urged to revive any stalled communications first by making contact with local editor's through their own talk pages, then by moving the discussion to this talk page.
- The COI editor may also wish to broadcast requests for changes at the talk pages of the various WikiProjects which govern this article. Those projects are normally listed at the top of each article's talk page.
- Unless being assisted by another review editor, the COI editor is asked to allow for a reasonable amount of time to pass before reactivating any subsequent {{tlx|request edit}} templates covering this same issue.

revised COI edit requests
Hi! As noted above, Navigant has hired me to request some updates to this article. I've updated my requests to reflect the current status of the article after some significant recent edits:
Lead:
- Update revenue in infobox:
$1.03B
{{small|(December 31, 2017)[http://phx.corporate-ir.net/External.File?item=UGFyZW50SUQ9NjkyMDk5fENoaWxkSUQ9NDAzMDY3fFR5cGU9MQ==&t=1] p.22 of Annual Report}} - Delete:
2016 revenues were $1.05 billion.
- I believe the {{tlx|third-party}} and {{tlx|ad}} flags have been superseded by recent edits and are no longer applicable.
History:
- Add to beginning of last paragraph of section:
In April 2018, the company partnered with Baptist Health South Florida to form a joint venture providing revenue cycle management to healthcare organizations.{{cite news |last1=Kacik |first1=Alex |title=Navigant, Baptist Health South Florida form revenue-cycle management joint venture |url=https://www.modernhealthcare.com/article/20180410/NEWS/180419995 |accessdate=22 November 2018 |work=Modern Healthcare |date=10 April 2018}}{{cite news |last1=Landi |first1=Heather |title=Baptist Health South Florida, Navigant Form RCM Joint Venture |url=https://www.healthcare-informatics.com/news-item/revenue-cycle-management/baptist-health-south-florida-navigant-form-rcm-joint-venture |accessdate=22 November 2018 |work=Healthcare Informatics |date=11 April 2018}}
Remainder of article:
- Replace "Category: Economics consulting firms" with the more accurate "Category: Management consulting firms of the United States".
{{reflist-talk}}
Due to my COI, I won't be editing directly. I appreciate any help or feedback! Mary Gaulke (talk) 05:02, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
:Edit #1 to the lead was made. Edit #2 to the lead was impossible as I cannot find any evidence of that claim in the current article. Edit #3 to the lead was partially done — I removed {{tlx|third-party}} but I am not quite confident that it'd be appropriate to remove {{tlx|ad}} and would prefer that someone with more experience in either the subject area or in handling COI edit requests handle that particular request. The history and category edits were both made as requested. Garzfoth (talk) 19:56, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

- What still needs to be done to get the {{tlx|ad}} flag removed from the article? I genuinely can't work out where any non-neutral language is remaining.

two COI edit requests
{{edit COI|D|Per WP:MINDREADER.}}
Hi! Back again with two COI edit requests to reflect Navigant's recent acquisition. All the edits are mocked up here, sans the logo since it's in userspace.
1. Adding fate
, defunct
and parent
parameters to infobox, with ref.
2. Updating tense throughout article lead.
That's it! I appreciate your help/feedback. Mary Gaulke (talk) 02:19, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
:It's not clear from this "mock-up" what changes are to be made, because the directions, as such, have not been included. Nowhere on the page does it specify what is to be added and what is to be deleted. Regards, Spintendo 16:09, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
::{{u|MaryGaulke}}, please just state in 100 words or fewer what factual changes you are suggesting, and then add the references that support those changes. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:39, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
:::{{ping|Spintendo|Justlettersandnumbers}} No factual changes. The company has been acquired and while this has been added to the end of the lead, the rest of the article hasn't been updated to match. I'm requesting two edits:
:::1. Adding to infobox:
::::|fate = Acquired by Guidehouse
::::|defunct = {{End date|2019|10}}{{cite news |last1=Wilkers |first1=Ross |title=Guidehouse closes Navigant acquisition |url=https://washingtontechnology.com/articles/2019/10/11/guidehouse-navigant-close.aspx |accessdate=4 November 2019 |work=Washington Technology |date=11 October 2019}}
::::|parent = Guidehouse
:::2. Updating tense in article lead (bolding added for emphasis): Navigant Consulting, Inc. was an American management consultancy firm. It had offices in Asia, Europe and North America; the head office was in Chicago, Illinois. The stock was a component of the S&P 600 index. Navigant was acquired by Guidehouse in 2019.
:::Incidentally, this does not appear to be the correct application of WP:MINDREADER, which is for situations where an editor is in the middle of updating an article and isn't transparent about their process. Mary Gaulke (talk) 17:47, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
::::You were in the process of making an edit request and you weren't transparent about what changes you wanted to be made, so much so that two separate editors both requested clarification on what changes you wanted — clarifications which you then provided here on the talk page. I think you'd agree that there is a certain inefficiency in placing an edit request of this particular size in two different locations as you originally did. Hello Wikipedia editors, my name is Danny. I am a representative for Guidehouse, which has combined with Navigant Consulting as currently outlined in the article. Our new partnership is now functioning under the name of Guidehouse and so I would like to propose moving this article to the name "Guidehouse". Once that's complete, I've prepared a draft article to clarify the company structure and history. In case editors would like to see that it, that draft is available on my user page. If any editors have questions or comments on this move request, please feel free to ping me either here or on my user page. Thanks, DS from Guidehouse (talk) 19:27, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

Ideas to update article
This is Danny from Guidehouse, happy to see that this article was moved! I have some suggestions on how to improve the article, which are below. Arbitrarily0 I left you a message on your talk page, this is what I was referring to. Also, 162 etc. I thought you might be interested too, since you left a comment during the move discussion.
Here's a list of what is in the draft:{{br}}
Introduction{{br}}
I've expanded on what Arbitrarily0 started
- Change "Guidehouse is an American management consultancy firm." to "Guidehouse is an American consulting firm for businesses and government entities."

- Add: "The head office is in Tysons, Virginia.{{cite news |last1=Navera |first1=Tristan |title=Guidehouse to set up new N. Va. - Change: "In 2019, Guidehouse purchased Navigant Consulting, Inc.." to "Guidehouse acquired Navigant Consulting in 2019."

Replace logo
Hello! I'm here as part of my work for Beutler Ink, on behalf of Guidehouse, who has asked that I make periodic maintenance requests for this article. Because of my conflict of interest, which I have disclosed in the banner above, I will propose changes here for other editors to review and implement on my behalf as appropriate.
I see the recent move and improvements to the article, and have only one change to request at this time:
- The Infobox contains an outdated logo, would an editor be willing to replace the logo in the Infobox with following: :File:Guidehouse_Logo.jpg
{{ping|162 etc.}} I see you implemented the changes that User:DS from Guidehouse recently requested. If this looks good to you, would you be willing to update the logo?
Cheers! BINK Robin (talk) 00:03, 8 December 2023 (UTC)

::{{reply to|162 etc.}} Hi, I've uploaded it here as non-free use (and flagged the version at Commons for deletion), does that work? Thanks! BINK Robin (talk) 18:48, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
:::Done. I'll note that the Navigant logo [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Navigant.jpg] should also be flagged for deletion at Commons, since it too is a non-free logo uploaded under the wrong license. 162 etc. (talk) 18:59, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
::::{{reply to|162 etc.}} Thanks! I'll look into the Navigant logo, I see the user uploaded it as their own work. An this article, the Infobox now has both the Navigant and Guidehouse logos, would you mind deleting the Navigant logo? Thanks again for your assistance! BINK Robin (talk) 19:47, 11 December 2023 (UTC)

::::::::{{ping|162 etc.}} Hi there! I noticed that the Guidehouse logo is showing up twice now. I updated the Wikidata item with the logo since it got moved over to Wikimedia Commons, and I think that’s causing the second copy to appear.
