Prambanan is not very close to Borobudur, unless you are looking at a large scale map! User:SatuSuro 01:26, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

It's like - needs a rigorous set of WP:RS to clarify the I think - and as to governance (as opposed to belonged) in either direction - Cambodia-Java, and Java-Cambodia - there are historical connections that have been speculated upon in some archaeological literature.
