RFK Jr. is a Republican
He works for the trump regime which is Republican. Not sure why it says that he’s still an independent. Convince it forward, I guess. lol. 173.67.182.46 (talk) 07:53, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
:Do you have any sources that state he's formally/officially registered/joined the party. You must provide evidence. Turtletennisfogwheat (talk) 07:55, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
::There are lots of sources proving that RFKJr. is a member of trump’s Republican regime and as “a former independent”.

:::::That does not necessarily mean he's a Republican. There were many Republicans actively working for and in support of Biden and Obama's administrations, that didn't make them automatically Democrats. Turtletennisfogwheat (talk) 22:00, 13 March 2025 (UTC)

::::::It also literally says (as you’ve pointed out) that he is “a former Independent”. The other two sources I have given clearly show that he is a member of trump’s Republican government. The gaslighting here is insane. 173.67.182.46 (talk) 18:27, 19 February 2025 (UTC)

::::::::Yes it does. It literally does. I’m confused why you’re trying to gaslight me. Are you an RFKJr. supporter? I’m confused how the HHS Secretary appointed by a Republican Party President isn’t considered a Republican? RFKJr. is clearly affiliated with the Republican Party at this point. 173.67.182.46 (talk) 18:32, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::Republican George W. Bush appointed Democrat Norm Mineta to his cabinet, and Mineta never changed parties. There is no requirement for RFK Jr to be a Republican to serve in a Republican administration. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:39, 19 February 2025 (UTC)

:JFK Jr. died in a plane crash in 1999 and I never once claimed that he was a Republican. You do know that RFK Jr. and JFK Jr. aren’t the same person, don’t you? RFK Jr. is clearly as politically aligned with the Republican Party as is clearly shown by the multiple RSs which I have provided. 173.67.182.46 (talk) 00:33, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
::"JFK" was plausibly a typo, so kindly tone down your hysterics over it. Should we put "Not to be confused with RFK?"
@SNUGGUMS As he reverted my edit.
I personally get the two mixed up a lot and given they have the exact same name except one has Jr. at the end other people might also get the two mixed up and so it helps if there is a distinction on the page. DotesConks (talk) 17:37, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
:The suffix alone in this page's title should be plenty per WP:NAMB to tell them apart, and I could've sworn that any chances of Robert Sr. and Robert Jr. being confused with one another was negligible when both are also known for very different things. You either way are the first person I know of who has mixed them up and I'm not convinced that addition is necessary. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 21:20, 5 April 2025 (UTC)

Excessive detail on a contemporary
As someone who has read Wikipedia articles on a variety of people, living and dead, I really am disappointed that the article on RFK, Jr. has become so bloated with details that with the passage of time will surely be considered trivial. The article on RFK, Jr. is longer than the Wikipedia articles on many people who have played much more important roles in history than this person (RFK, Jr.) can or will play. As it stands, it looks at LEAST as long on the article about ABRAHAM LINCOLN! And do we really need a section on his "behavior with dead animals"? At the moment, some of his political opponents want to make hay out of some of these silly hijinks of his, just like Mark Twain mocked Teddy Roosevelt's hunting a bear, which Twain claimed was really a defenseless cow. But I doubt any serious encyclopedia included the incident Twain mocked in a reference article about T. Roosevelt. I would like to encourage Wikipedia editors to consider what is really important to Kennedy's place in history. Right now, the Wikipedia article on RFK reads more like a New Yorker profile than a reference work. If human civilization manages to survive another 50 years, who then will care what Kennedy did with a whale's head, or what his confirmation hearing was like? But what he has said and done about vaccines, and what he will do about them in the future (now that he has SO MUCH POWER) does matter, and will affect people's lives for years to come. I appeal to the editors to exercise better judgement and not try to include every morsel of scuttlebutt. Not every fact is important to preserve!! 167.102.146.2 (talk) 16:22, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
:Lincoln has (11549 words) "readable prose size" compared to (13278 words) "readable prose size" for this one, sure. But Lincoln also has subarticles like Early life and career of Abraham Lincoln and Presidency of Abraham Lincoln, and there are some words in those, too. Kennedy does a lot of stuff now that gets a lot of press, and people will continue to add it. Is all current content WP:PROPORTIONate? Maybe not, specifics can always be discussed. When he leaves office, things calm down, and there will be sources with more perspective. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 19:21, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
An important claim of his life which is not mentioned here
https://www.historynewsnetwork.org/article/robert-f-kennedy-jr-claims-2004-election-was-stole
Robert F Kennedy Jr claimed that George W. Bush stole Ohio from Kerry thus flipping the election with Ohio being the tipping point state, this claim or conspiracy theory received a lot of media attention back then. I hope this is significant enough to be included. 2405:201:9004:A89E:6819:A3F3:57B8:F40 (talk) 03:31, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

:Hi Fabrickator, I just added one link to the external links sections. Our article FactCheck.org should be added to a See also section if it would exist, but I don't think that link is specific enough to add to Kennedy's article. Friendly, Lova Falk (talk) 05:29, 2 June 2025 (UTC)

Conspiracy Theorist should be removed. That is subjective to what the popular ideology at the time a person is "branded". Americans know there are cover-ups in the government ALL THE TIME. So it more like trying to quiet this man by branding him a Conspiracy Theorist. So I am saying it is only fair since it is controversial not to give judgement either way. You KNOW there are other words to use. What is fair would be to say he is controversial NOT conspiracy. 2601:346:E00:A60:53E3:9C3:B484:E48C (talk) 12:47, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

In his "Health" subsection within the section "Personal Life", add the sentence: "Kennedy is somewhat deaf in his left ear." Citation for this line comes from https://www.outsideonline.com/outdoor-adventure/water-activities/fu-fighters/ Brangston (talk) 22:08, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
:Brangston being somewhat deaf in their left ear is not notable enough to be added to this article. Friendly, Lova Falk (talk) 08:53, 10 June 2025 (UTC)
