This article is in good shape. I have a few comments:

  • in the lead, it mentions Protestant Germany, but not Catholic?

::Er, well, Austria was and remained the preeminent Catholic German power, but that wasn't a result of these wars (that was the case both before and after); what changed was the rise of Prussia. Do you think it should be spelled out that Austria remained the leading Catholic power in Germany? -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

:::Yes, I think if you are going to mention Protestant, mention Austria was Catholic. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 23:51, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • in the first para of Context and causes, they were not yet belligerents, perhaps "importance to both parties."?

::How about "multiple parties", since what I'm trying to get at is that it, besides Austria and Prussia, Silesia was also geostrategically important to Saxony, Poland, Russia, et al.? -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

:::Sure. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 23:51, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • in First Silesian War suggest "and soon after formalized in the Treaty of Berlin" otherwise we have to click on the link to see when it was concluded

::Done. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • in Second Silesian War is there a good link for Dutch Republic?

::Linked (and also in the corresponding article). -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • in Third Silesian War suggest "Battle of Gross-Jägersdorf on 30 August", "Battle of Domstadtl on 30 June", "Battle of Hochkirch on 14 October", "Battle of Torgau on 3 November" and "Treaty of Hubertusburg in February 1763"
  • also suggest "Prussia's control of Saxony for thea time"

::Hadn't quite gotten to duplicating these changes from the previous review, thanks for the reminder! -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • suggest "but by then the war had again shifted in Prussia's favor, and Russia did not resume hostilities" or similar

::Good idea, done. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • suggest "His debts to fortune, such as Russia's about-face after Elizabeth's death, and to"

::Done. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • suggest "were strenuously kept alivepromoted"

::Done. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • I think you can dispense with "her husband (Emperor Francis I) and son (Emperor Joseph II)," as this has been well-explained earlier

::Fair enough, done. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • suggest "a total realignment of Habsburg foreign policy through the "Diplomatic Revolution""

::Done. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • there is a citation to Duffy (1974) but no corresponding Source, there is a script available that automatically identifies such harv errors, which I can talk you through if you like.

::Why, so there is! Fixed. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • there is a bit of mixing of harv citations and full citations. Not necessary for GA, but I suggest you move the full citations for Horn, Black (1990) and Bled to the Sources and just use harv citations.

::Done, with some back-porting to Third Silesian War. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

  • File:After the Battle of Hohenfriedberg by Carl Rochling.jpg licensing isn't up to scratch

::Fixed. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

That's all I have. Placing on hold for the above to be addressed. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 02:16, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

:::This article is well-written, verifiable using reliable sources, covers the subject well, is neutral and stable, contains no plagiarism, and is illustrated by appropriately licensed images with appropriate captions. Passing. This is a very nice body of work on the Silesian Wars, you might like to put up the four articles as a Good Topic. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 23:51, 21 April 2019 (UTC)
