I removed the following templates: 2012 ATP World Tour

2012 WTA Tour

2012 in Tennis

because these have not been created and the red links are distracting and mess up the form of the page. However, I do agree that these should be included in the article once the templates have been made.--SargentIV (talk) 03:08, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Regarding the proposal to merge this page with Tennis at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Qualification I disagree that it should be done. It is standard for wikipedia articles to have a Main page for a Sport at the Olympics and another page devoted to qualification. I don't see why Tennis should be the exception.--MorrisIV (talk) 15:28, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

Per article tournament was organised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Tennis Federation (ITF). But [http://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/2012_olympics/201205091336576897854.html this source] says that "The event is organised by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG), working closely with the International Tennis Federation, on behalf of the International Olympic Committee (IOC)." --Stryn (talk) 05:42, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
