Hi there, thanks. I'm looking into the issue now. You've done a lot of great work to curling articles, and I applaud your edits. I was quite offended to see what she had done this morning, and I at first chalked it up to ignorance, and now I don't know what to think. Keep up the good work, and just help out to fight for the inclusion of these athletes. It might also help if you created articles on most of them! :) -- Earl Andrew - talk 03:20, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
:This is what I have just done. Hopefully this appeases her. Anyways, I'm going to create a Curling WikiProject, so that we have a set of policies on these matters that we can point to in the future. I hope that you can join up and put in your two cents. -- Earl Andrew - talk 03:49, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Page bracket
The Olympics don't use the page playoff system, so there is no way of adding a round to the page playoff bracket, without editing the template, something I have no idea how to do. -- Earl Andrew - talk 02:11, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
2011 Ford World Men's Curling Championship
Hello! Thanks for pointing my mistake on the 2011 Ford World Men's Curling Championship page out. I was basing it off of the 2010 Championship's page. I checked the 2010 European Curling Championships page, and it seems as if it is eight teams. Thanks, and best regards. Prayerfortheworld (talk) 01:21, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

The article Jordan Moulton has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
:Possibly fails notability within the strict sense of WP:ATHLETE
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Hey, thanks for creating the 2010 badminton articles but they looked messed up somehow. Why not use Template:32TeamBracket-Tennis3 this template? So the seeds are not behind the names but in an extra column... Or create a 4team bracket for the semis + final in the singles competitions? Kante4 (talk) 19:23, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
:Thanks Kante4. The Japan Open Super Series is coming up soon. I'll use that bracket for the upcoming tournament. Thanks for pointing it out to me, I wasn't sure where to find those templates. Also, thanks for all of the editing you do for other pages related to Olympic sports.--SargentIV (talk) 21:07, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
::No problem and thanks. ;-) I will try to help with the next event. Kante4 (talk) 21:40, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
:::Looks better to me. ;-) Kante4 (talk) 00:03, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Why not use default name?
I want to know WHY you are simply want to use different name that simply just like abusing and insulting people? Fu Haifeng, you change to Fu Hai Feng, not wrong, but quite harsh to see it. If i change your name styling, would you willing to accept it? Think about it. --Aleenf1 15:57, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
:Having spoken to other people who follow Olympic sports and are more familiar with Chinese culture than I am it is my understanding that all words and names in Chinese are monosyllabic meaning that it all Chinese names have three names (Jiang Yan Jiao) as opposed to two names (Jiang Yanjiao). While I understand that much of this issue comes down to personal preference I really don't understand how this could be considered abusive. I am only trying to be correct to the Chinese culture. Additionally, I find it interesting that Chinese names from Hong Kong athletes appear as three different names (as well as Vietnamese names), but not the names of those who come from the People's Republic of China. --SargentIV (talk) 18:34, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
::I don't see why you should confusing other people by prefer your own styling without bringing the issue to the discussion board, i see you are not following this guidelines. You are affecting article by using a RAW editing. Can you understand this? --Aleenf1 03:58, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
Denmark Open
Hey, i just think this way it looks better, hope you like it. Kante4 (talk) 08:37, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
:I have mixed emotions about it right now. First, I like breaking the brackets into top and bottom for the doubles because it allows for the entire bracket to be shown as opposed to starting with the quarterfinals. But I do find that breaking the sections makes it a little bit harder to read the singles brackets. I also don't like how the final bracket is separated from the rest of the bracket, but the way in which the final was shown in previous super series pages isn't much better.--SargentIV (talk) 23:36, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
::In the other articles, it was all messed up i thought and so i think it looks better. Not perfect, we may need to find a good solution for it in the next days/weeks or so...Kante4 (talk) 23:49, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
:::I'm curious, why don't you like the seed numbers to be bolded in the brackets. I believe it makes the brackets easier to read.--SargentIV (talk) 23:38, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
::::I find it terrible and even harder to read. That just pops right into your eye and it´s never been done on any bracket (NBA Playoffs, ATP/WTA/ATP Challenger)... Kante4 (talk) 23:39, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

2011 Pan American Games
I did that so all the countries would be on one line, instead of some countries being on two; I think it looks cleaner like that. Besides for me I do not need to scroll to see it. Tell me if you have any concerns. Intoronto1125 (talk) 03:05, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

India Super Series
Hey, no problem as it looks good now with the byes in the bracket. To the shortened names, it is done always on the tennis brackets and the brackets don´t look messed up at the end of the tournament. Kante4 (talk) 23:17, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
:I´m fine either way. :) Kante4 (talk) 00:40, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
Re:2012 Olympics
For the calendar. I was connecting the events to the calendar. If I didn't redirect them it would have so many "red links" so I decided to just redirect them. Intoronto1125TalkContributions 01:50, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
:Update: apparently a discussion at the Olympics project came to a consensus to move away from formatting calendars like that so in reality I was unaware of this decision and this has led to many redirected articles. Sorry. Intoronto1125TalkContributions 04:58, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
Re: Malawi
Hey, i put the information back in because it should be there as you said. I don´t know why it was removed and when it´s removed again we need to start a discussion on the talk page with this user and looking for an consensus by getting other user´s opinions too. Re: Beach Volleyball
Ease the work
Hi, you create often very nice badminton draws (I hate this time consuming work). One hint, how to save a little bit time: The
'''bold sign
is valid for the whole text until the next paragraph, you don't need to put it in the doubles section there four times in each line.
Example:
{{flagicon|INA}} Tantowi Ahmad
{{flagicon|INA}} Lilyana Natsir
has the same effect like
'''{{flagicon|INA}} Tantowi Ahmad
{{flagicon|INA}} Lilyana Natsir.
I hope, you can save due to this some time and create much more draws! Best Florentyna (talk) 12:04, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

Hey, because the chinese full name has two "words" and i just know it like this Wang J and so on... The malaysian (and korean) names consist of three names and so its Lee EC or whatever. Kante4 (talk) 14:47, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
:I was going after their names on wikipedia. The chinese taipei names are W W-w all the time but not the chinese ones, if i am wrong sorry. Kante4 (talk) 22:51, 6 August 2011 (UTC) Kante4 (talk) 22:51, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

Getting Wikimedians to the Olympic Games
Hi. I am part of an effort to get Wikimedians access to the 2016 Summer Olympics as accredited reporters and photographers. Part of this effort includes covering the 2012 Summer Paralympics. Two Wikimedians have credentials to attend these games as reporters through Wikimedia Australia. As English Wikipedia does not allow original reporting, this is largely through Wikinews with a project page found at Wikinews:Paralympic Games. If you are interested in helping to get Wikimedians to the next Summer Olympics,I'd encourage you to assist with Wikinews efforts, and also to work on all language 2012 Summer Paralympic Wikipedia articles before, during and after the Games to demonstrate a track record of success. Thank you. --LauraHale (talk) 04:20, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
