THe president of this country is Edmundo Gonzalez Urritia y la vice president is Maria Corina Machado Leonardoviverosm7 (talk) 00:41, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
:File:Red information icon with gradient background.svg Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Reliable sources are needed to make this edit. Thus far, both Maduro and the opposition have declared election victory, and we will not call the election here on WIkipedia. General Ization Talk 00:50, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
::Currently Edmundo Gonzalez Urritia is listed as President on the Article. Please fix that, because no matter who the election winner is, the inauguration takes place on the 10th January of 2025 which makes Maduro the President of Venezuela until that date.

Hi. The ‘president of Venezuela’ needs to be amended to show ‘Edmundo Gonzalez’. Sources can be found online and he has been recognised globally as the new president. Thank you! 2.97.11.214 (talk) 07:24, 8 August 2024 (UTC)

Orphaned references in [[:Venezuela]]
I check pages listed in :Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of :Venezuela's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "reuters29jul":
- From 2024 Venezuelan presidential election: {{cite web |title=Leaders across Americas react to Venezuela election results |url=https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/latin-american-leaders-react-venezuela-election-results-2024-07-29/ |website=Reuters |access-date=29 July 2024}}
- From International reactions to the 2024 Venezuelan presidential election: {{cite web |date=29 July 2024 |title=Leaders across Americas react to Venezuela election results |url=https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/latin-american-leaders-react-venezuela-election-results-2024-07-29/ |access-date=29 July 2024 |website=Reuters}}
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT⚡ 17:01, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
Seemingly biased sources cited for "dictatorship" label
The sources cited arguing the country has become a "dictatorship" are largely American ones that have been historically biased against countries not aligned with the U.S. There are no Venezuelan sources, nor ones from international organizations. I think at least adding a tag acknowledging disputed neutrality should be done. NonHydranary (talk) 23:02, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
:This country is a dictatorship though, its indisputable. It literally has a president who is rigging elections... WhoIsCentreLeft (talk) 17:42, 26 March 2025 (UTC)
