Title
Would it not make more sense to call this “Controversies Surrounding Kanye West” as this will more likely cover his controversial statements and controversial views. AlienChex (talk) 22:26, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
:This isn't designed to be an article for controversial statements made by Kanye. elijahpepe@wikipedia (he/him) 05:18, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
Orphaned references in [[:Views of Kanye West]]
I check pages listed in :Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of :Views of Kanye West's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 19:02, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
:{{u|La lopi}}, you added these orphaned references, so please copy them over from the other articles. Throast
"Economy"
"2023"
It is weird to me that the 2023 section about Jonah Hill is followed by stuff from November 2022. I think more recent stuff should be at the very bottom. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:8C0:B80:E60:6DE5:AEC5:6792:BA12 (talk) 02:05, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
Addition of contentious categories
This is being discussed over at Talk:Kanye West, but I will state right now that the following categories should not be added to this article, unless there is clear consensus from reliable sources per WP:BLP:
:Category:Antisemitism in the United States: Article is already under subcategory :Category:Holocaust denial in the United States.
:Category:Neo-fascism in the United States: No consensus established by multiple RS that describes West as a neo-fascist, so should not be included per BLP.
:Category:Neo-Nazism in the United States: No consensus established by multiple RS that describes West as a neo-Nazi, so should not be included per BLP.
Consensus is required for inclusion of all of these categories, and anyone desiring to include these in the article should discuss on this talk page first, supported by sources that meet WP:BLP, WP:V, WP:RS and other policies and guidelines surrounding sourcing. JeffSpaceman (talk) 01:47, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
:See more specific discussion at Talk:Kanye West#Why do we not add the “American neo-Nazis” category?. JeffSpaceman (talk) 01:50, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
“Social Experiment”?
Although West indeed referred to his series of tweets as a “social experiment”, I believe it should be noted that he later deleted the tweet in which he called it a “social experiment”, retracting that description and elaborating on his true intent with “I DONT LIKE THAT I SAID SOCIAL EXPERIMENT I TWEETING EVERYTHING I FELT AND IM NOT FIXING NOTHING F**K EVERYONE”. I propose that this be acknowledged by amending the relevant sentence in this Wikipedia article to include a mention of the tweet’s deletion, West’s retraction of the “social experiment” descriptor and clarification of his intent.
