:File:Red information icon with gradient background.svg Not done for now: Neither source supports the claim that Mondale was the nominee. I'm trying to wrangle the Blue Book into the citation template, so once that gets itself worked out I'll add the infobox myself. casualdejekyll 19:26, 26 December 2022 (UTC)

Not the 42nd VP
Walter Mondale, was vice-president to James Earl Carter. The two made up the principals of the 39th in US presidential administrations.Thus, Mondale is/was the 39th VP of the United States. Robosborn415 (talk) 17:45, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
:What kind of wacky "logic" is this? Several presidential administrations have had more than one vice president. See List of vice presidents of the United States. Dimadick (talk) 13:11, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
::I stand corrected. 76.14.122.126 (talk) 18:37, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
