Career
TeddyLoid's career first began by publishing remixes on MySpace, where he gained popularity and climbed to the top of the platform's electronic indie chart. In 2008, he toured internationally as Miyavi's background DJ in the guitarist's "This Iz The Japanese Kabuki Rock Tour 2008".{{cite news |title=柴咲コウ、異色新ユニットで11月デビュー |url=https://www.oricon.co.jp/news/2002389/full/ |accessdate=19 April 2020 |agency=Oricon |date=4 October 2011 |language=ja}}
TeddyLoid's first partnership with Taku Takahashi came when Takahashi created his record label, TCY Records. In the record label's debut album, TCY Recordings Sampler Vol.0, TeddyLoid produced the song "Another Day".{{cite news |title=☆Taku Takahashiが世界基準レーベルTCY Recordings発足 |url=https://natalie.mu/music/news/25294 |accessdate=19 April 2020 |agency=Natalie |date=17 December 2009 |language=ja}} The two then worked together on the soundtrack for the anime series Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, with TeddyLoid producing multiple songs.{{cite news |title=☆Takuアニメ進出「パンティ&ストッキング」サントラ全貌 |url=https://natalie.mu/music/news/41204 |accessdate=19 April 2020 |agency=Natalie |date=28 November 2010 |language=ja}} The soundtrack album, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt The Original Soundtrack, reached 10th on the Oricon Albums Chart,{{cite web |title=Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt The Original Soundtrack |url=https://www.oricon.co.jp/prof/530652/products/895848/1/ |website=Oricon |accessdate=19 April 2020 |language=ja}} while its follow-up album Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt The Worst Album also reached 24th.{{cite web |title=Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt THE WORST ALBUM |url=https://www.oricon.co.jp/prof/541199/products/920100/1/ |website=Oricon |accessdate=19 April 2020 |language=ja}} In 2011, he formed Galaxias! along with vocalist Ko Shibasaki and music producer Deco*27. The three produced one album titled Galaxias! and toured Japan, including a concert at Nippon Budokan.{{cite news |title=galaxias!、デビュー前夜に東京初ライブを敢行 |url=https://natalie.mu/music/news/60086 |accessdate=19 April 2020 |agency=Natalie |date=23 November 2011 |language=ja}}

The music was written in three parts, and the video, notable for its sexual violence content, featured a male protagonist in a surreal-psychedelic setting while surrounded by nude women, which becomes a viral hit over 100 million views on YouTube.{{cite news |last1=Mahoney |first1=Rachel |title=3rd Animator Expo Short is "ME!ME!ME!"
