Comment: {{ping|GeogSage}} I'm seeing a lot of good, potential hooks in the article. Your section on "Early history and etymology" has quite a few. The material about Eratosthenes, the Ptolemaic tradition, and Islamic geographers could make separate hooks or could even be combined into one hook. Viriditas (talk) 01:43, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
