Tendla (also Tinedla or Tenedla) ({{langx|ar|تندلة}}) is a town and commune in Djamaa District, El M'Ghair Province, Algeria. According to the 2008 census it has a population of 9,193,{{cite web|title=Population: El Oued Wilaya|url=http://www.ons.dz/collections/w39_p1.pdf|publisher=Office National des Statistiques Algérie|accessdate=12 February 2013|language=French}} up from 8,033 in 1998,{{cite web|title=Algeria Communes|url=http://www.statoids.com/ydz.html|publisher=Statoids|accessdate=9 March 2013}} with an annual growth rate of 1.4%, the second-lowest in the province.

Tendla has a hot desert climate (Köppen climate classification BWh), with very hot summers and mild winters. Rainfall is light and sporadic, and summers are particularly dry.
