Premise

Serving as a continuation of the original series and set decades after it, The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish tells the story of Hazel Wells, a 10-year-old girl who has recently moved to the city of Dimmadelphia because of her father's new job. On top of being in an unfamiliar environment, it is also the first time she has been without her older brother, Antony, who left to start college, leaving her feeling lonely and unsure of herself. All that changes when her pink-and-green-haired neighbors next door reveal themselves to be no ordinary neighbors but fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda, who come out of retirement to become Hazel's fairy godparents.{{Cite web |last=Rice |first=Lynette |date=February 23, 2024 |title=Nickelodeon To Launch 'The Fairly OddParents' Spinoff 'A New Wish' This Spring |url=https://deadline.com/2024/05/nickelodeon-fairly-oddparents-spinoff-a-new-wish-trailer-1235834911/ |access-date=February 23, 2024 |website=Deadline |language=en-US}}{{Cite web |last=Andrew |first=Stephen |date=February 23, 2024 |title=A New 'Fairly OddParents' Series Is in the Works With Original Voice Actors Returning |url=https://popculture.com/tv-shows/news/fairly-oddparents-new-series-in-the-works-original-voice-actors-returning/ |access-date=February 25, 2024 |website=PopCulture.com |language=en}}
