The Welsh Connection (stylized on the cover as Welsh-Connection) is the eleventh album by the Welsh rock band Man and was released on the MCA Records label 1976.{{cite web|url=http://www.manband-archive.com/music/index.php|title=Manband Archive - Music|publisher=www.manband-archive.com|accessdate=2009-08-12|url-status=dead|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20090504111851/http://www.manband-archive.com/music/index.php|archivedate=2009-05-04}} It was their first MCA release, and the first after a change of line-up that saw John McKenzie take over on bass from Martin Ace, and Phil Ryan rejoin. Ryan had worked with Pete Brown in the interim, and arranged for Brown to play on two tracks.
The track "Something is Happening" was sampled on "Break the Bank" a 2014 single by rapper Schoolboy Q.{{cite web | url=http://www.classicrockmagazine.com/news/man-score-us-number-1-with-70s-track/ | title=Man score US No.1 with 70s track | publisher=Classic Rock Magazine | date=6 March 2014 | accessdate=7 March 2014 | author=Kielty, Martin}}
