Tyran Donaldson II, also known as Scum, Pete Nebula and The Antydote, is an American songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist best known for his work with Rihanna ("Consideration"), SZA ("Love Galore"), Kendrick Lamar ("Complexion (A Zulu Love)"), and Isaiah Rashad ("Rope // rosegold"), among many others. He is currently an in-house producer for label Top Dawg Entertainment.{{cite web | url=https://www.complex.com/music/2016/01/a-look-at-the-production-credits-for-rihannas-anti-album | title=A Look at Who's Who on Rihanna's 'ANTI' Album | website=Complex Networks | access-date=March 20, 2023 | archive-date=March 17, 2023 | archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20230317035240/https://www.complex.com/music/2016/01/a-look-at-the-production-credits-for-rihannas-anti-album | url-status=live }}{{cite web | url=https://performermag.com/new-music-and-video/interviews-and-features/a-city-in-flux-exploring-the-chattanooga-hip-hop-scene/ | title=Exploring the Chattanooga Hip-Hop Scene | Performer Mag | access-date=March 20, 2023 | archive-date=December 27, 2022 | archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20221227165849/https://performermag.com/new-music-and-video/interviews-and-features/a-city-in-flux-exploring-the-chattanooga-hip-hop-scene/ | url-status=live }}

Donaldson, a novice guitarist and early music industry friend of fellow producer ThankGod4Cody, began playing several melancholy guitar chords while in the studio with SZA, who requested a looped recording of the chords at the conclusion of the studio session.{{cite magazine | url=https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/thankgod4cody-sza-ctrl-interview-8047078/ | title=Producer ThankGod4Cody Talks Going from Memphis to Producing on SZA's Grammy-Nominated Album 'CTRL' | magazine=Billboard | access-date=March 20, 2023 | archive-date=November 28, 2022 | archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20221128080619/https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/thankgod4cody-sza-ctrl-interview-8047078/ | url-status=live }} This loop would become the soundscape for 2017 Ctrl album opener "Supermodel", later Grammy-nominated for Best R&B Song.{{cite magazine | url=https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/sza-supermodel-how-it-went-down-video-7998571/ | title=SZA Reveals Pharrell Tried to Add Drums to 'Supermodel,' but It Just Didn't Work | magazine=Billboard | access-date=March 20, 2023 | archive-date=March 20, 2023 | archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20230320223035/https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/sza-supermodel-how-it-went-down-video-7998571/ | url-status=live }}
