{{Use dmy dates|date=June 2021}}

The knockout stage of UEFA Euro 2020 began on 26 June 2021 with the round of 16 and ended on 11 July 2021 with the final at Wembley Stadium in London, England.{{cite web |url=https://editorial.uefa.com/resources/0269-1235cbcf229a-a665bdf96d2c-1000/euro_match_schedule.pdf |title=UEFA Euro 2020: 2021 match schedule |website=UEFA |publisher=Union of European Football Associations |date=May 2021 |access-date=12 May 2021 |archive-date=7 May 2021 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20210507201505/https://editorial.uefa.com/resources/0269-1235cbcf229a-a665bdf96d2c-1000/euro_match_schedule.pdf |url-status=dead }}

Times listed are Central European Summer Time (UTC+2). If the venue is located in a different time zone, the local time is also given.

Format

In the knockout stage, if a match was level at the end of 90 minutes of normal playing time, extra time was played (two periods of 15 minutes each), where each team was allowed to make a sixth substitution.{{cite web |location=Zürich |url=https://static-3eb8.kxcdn.com/documents/843/113921_080520_IFAB_Circular_19_2020_EN.pdf |title=Temporary amendment to Law 3 |work=International Football Association Board |date=8 May 2020 |access-date=31 March 2021 |url-status=live |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20201130203121/https://static-3eb8.kxcdn.com/documents/843/113921_080520_IFAB_Circular_19_2020_EN.pdf |archive-date=30 November 2020}} If still tied after extra time, the match was decided by a penalty shoot-out to determine the winners.{{cite web |url=https://documents.uefa.com/v/u/WVKcnryVkASzztwJjPBcIw |title=Regulations of the UEFA European Football Championship 2018–20 |website=UEFA |publisher=Union of European Football Associations |date=9 March 2018 |access-date=11 May 2021 |url-status=live |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20210511180320/https://documents.uefa.com/internal/api/webapp/documents/WVKcnryVkASzztwJjPBcIw/content |archive-date=11 May 2021}}
