Something that needed to be said...

All right, I'm going to make one quick comment here and I'm back to my self-imposed one article exile. A lot of people here, and I won't say who specifically, because these people should know who they are, need to calm down. I will be very honest and say that I'm finding cries of "abuse" very upsetting and hard to stomach, and it has nothing to do with my being an admin or who I agree or disagree with. I've been working on an article about someone subjected to actual abuse on a level so horrifying it's quite literally impossible to imagine, and I can't begin to understand how flare-ups that in the grand scheme of things are such minor, trivial problems, are causing so many vicious comments and hurt feelings. Our work together here should be our armor, not some sharp, angry, burning sword. I would strongly recommend that everyone here find an article to work on for a while; not the cliche "random article", but something that gives you a nice tug at the heartstrings.
