This is a list of gender gap-related subjects missing from Wikipedia. There is a pronounced [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Gender_gap gender gap] in Wikipedia's editing community, with women comprising probably 10-16% of all editors. Because editors often contribute to topics they are familiar with and that concern them, Wikipedia has a tendency to provide poor coverage of topics that concern and are of interest to women. This systemic bias has the potential to exacerbate an historical record that already gives undue emphasis to men. It includes individuals as well as related topics.
The biographical subjects listed here are sorted by profession.
- For subjects that appear in other sources, see the In other sources tab
- For subjects by award or honor, see the Awards and honors tab
- For subjects by location, see the Nationality tab
