Hi, I'm Mackensen. My real name is Charles. I have been a Wikipedian since August 24, 2003, and an administrator since September 30, 2004. I have served as a CheckUser and Oversighter and have twice served on the Arbitration Committee. I served one term on the Wikimedia Foundation's Ombudsman commission (2007–2009). I was also a founding member of the Audit Subcommittee.

These days I edit articles about railways and college football. I can be found here, on Commons, and on Wikidata. I do a lot with European railway lines and stations, including reconciling data issues between the three projects. I have access to the Schweers + Wall railway atlases for Switzerland, Germany (2020 edition), Austria, Italy + Slovenia, and France (volume I), and also the 2010 edition of Schienennetz Schweiz.
