The PoolWerx Corporation was founded as a team of mobile pool cleaners in Australia in the early 1990s. Over the following two decades the PoolWerx brand has won a number of awards for its franchise system.

PoolWerx attributes much of its success to its ability to allow franchisees to build on their mobile service, and establish a 'pool lifestyle' retail store to anchor their fleets. Franchisees establish satellite stores within their vans intra-territory and by occupying several territories develop their small business.
