I am currently involved in the development of an AP Biology project that utilizes Wikipedia as a platform for the task. My article is the North American River Otter. The challenge is getting the article to receive Good Article status. However, my ultimate goal is to get my article promoted to Featured Article status. It is a challenging task, but it is possible to accomplish. This is our project center: Wikipedia:WikiProject AP Biology 2008.

==Extracurricular Activities==

During the summer of 2008, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a 3-week-long academic summer program at Duke University. My course of study there was Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Ethics. The curriculum for the course entailed a multitude of dissections–sheep brains, sheep hearts, cow eyes, and cats. The labs were both unique and educationally enlightening.

At my school, I am a member of the Quiz Bowl team and I serve as President and Founder of the Speech and Debate Organization. I am a member of several other clubs that are centered around community service. Additionally, I strive to stay actively involved in volunteerism throughout my community on an individual basis.

Some of my hobbies and interests include: flight lessons, boating, sailing, and reading. My primary focus and interest is school. I have a passion for learning and education.
